Missing Yesterday

After four months I have settled into a regular schedule for The Wages of Wins Journal. Each day I try and make exactly one entry. After posting for 15 consecutive days, though, yesterday I was unable to post anything.

My excuse is that I was in Philadelphia, where I was speaking to the wonderful people at Innovation: The SmartOps Forum 2006. Seeing your work reviewed in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Sports Ilustrated.com is certainly rewarding. But perhaps not quite as rewarding as having the opportunity to tell The Wages of Wins story to a live audience. So thanks to Rhonda, Tom, and Sridhar at SmartOps for bringing me to Philadelphia. I left very impressed with the work these people do and I hope everyone enjoyed my brief talk.
