Jesse Kellerman Likes Our Book
A few days ago we received the following e-mail from Jesse Kellerman.
“Great book! I read it in a single afternoon. Not only is it well-conceived, well-supported, and funny, it provokes lots and lots of fascinating questions--I closed it more curious and full of thoughts than when I opened it. To me, that's the highest praise a book can earn.”
Certainly this is high praise, but some might ask, who is Jesse Kellerman?
Jesse Kellerman’s debut novel is entitled Sunstroke. As Publisher Weekly notes, “Kellerman is the son of well-known novelists Faye and Jonathan Kellerman, and if his debut is any indication, talent breeds true.”
Why should the opinion of a novelist be important? Like Malcolm Gladwell, Kellerman is a talented writer. Ultimately we hope The Wages of Wins is considered good writing, and when we hear nice comments from people with an abundance of writing talent, well.... we are extremely pleased.
Readers will note that we have added Kellerman’s comments to our list of reviews. Hopefully he is not alone in finding our work “well-conceived”, “well-supported”, and perhaps most importantly, “funny.”
